Alimonify is built on modern privacy-first principles. We prioritize radical transparency regarding how calculations are executed, how personal data is safeguarded, and how advertising partners deliver programmatic advertisements.
1. Zero Server-Side Transmission of Calculator Inputs
Our primary statutory child support calculator runs 100% deterministically on your local device (client-side). When you input income, overnight parenting schedules, child counts, or health insurance amounts:
- Your financial inputs are processed solely in your browser's local memory.
- No income figures or custody allocations are transmitted to, logged by, or retained on our web servers during general calculator usage.
- Calculation formulas execute locally using static pre-compiled TypeScript matrices.
2. Optional Court Worksheet & Legal Inquiries
If you voluntarily choose to use the "Email / Print Official Court Worksheet Preview" feature or request an attorney consultation:
- We collect your email address, provided name, selected role, and case reference solely to generate and transmit your requested worksheet preview.
- Data submitted via this drawer is encrypted in transit and stored in a secure cloud database (Supabase) under strict Row Level Security (RLS).
- We do not sell your personal information to third-party telemarketers. If you explicitly request an attorney referral, your inquiry is routed strictly to licensed family law attorneys or accredited mediation panels in your jurisdiction.
3. Programmatic Advertising & Cookies
Alimonify displays programmatic advertisements to support our free statutory calculator tools. Third-party advertising partners, including Google LLC, ad exchanges, and programmatic supply-side platforms (SSPs), use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this website and other websites across the Internet:
- Google AdSense & DoubleClick: Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to Alimonify and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Opt-Out: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you may opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI).
4. CCPA/CPRA & GDPR Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and related legislation, you have the right to request access to, deletion of, or restriction of processing of any personal information held by us. Because calculator inputs are not transmitted or stored, we do not maintain persistent consumer profiles unless you explicitly submitted a court worksheet lead.
